стройки?» — спросил я у инициатора и организатора этой
стройки Василия Васильевича Аришина. «Если бы я не был уверен в
том, что будет построен Дом Молитвы для молокан Москвы, меня сегодня
здесь не было бы», — ответил мне Василий Васильевич. |
"Do you believe the construction we just started will be a success?" — I asked Vasily Arishin, the planner and supervisor of this building . "If I was not sure that a Prayer Hall for Molokans will be built in Moscow, I would not have been here today," Vassily replied to me. | |||||

| 15 декабря день выдался
морозный, к привезённому вагончику на место
стройки, еще не было подведено электричество и погреться можно было
только движением и работой. Ермаков Александр привёз электрогенератор,
ребята завели его и подключили к вагончику. Привезли и экскаватор и тот
рычал, расчищая площадку под рытье фундамента. Грунт был мёрзлый и
небольшому механизму с трудом удавалось вгрызаться в землю. |
December 15 was a freezing day. The little trailer brought to the construction site had no electricity or heat. The only way to keep warm was by moving and working. Alexander Ermakov brought a generator, and the guys got it started and connected to the trailer. They brought an excavator (trackhoe) and it growled, clearing the site to dig the foundation. The ground was frozen and the small machines struggled to bite into the dirt. | |||||

| Пока велись подготовительные работы на участке, «начальство» наше нашло Камаз для вывоза грунта и нашли место куда его вывозить. Помолились и приступили к рытью. Было всем радостно, что дело от разговоров перешло к делу. Как-то всё «клеилось» и удавалось находить «язык» со всеми, к кому обращались. | While the preparatory work was
conducted at the site, "the authorities" discovered our
dump truck (KaMAZ) and
found a place where the dirt could be dumped. We prayed and started
digging. We were all happy that the situation was transferred from talk
to
action. Somehow we managed to "glue" everything together and found an understanding (iazyk)
with everyone with whom we communicated. |

| После обеда стало быстро
темнеть, развели костёр. Привезли «походный» обед,
согрелись горячим чаем, маленько перекусили и опять за дело. |
It got dark
soon after lunch, and we lit a fire. We prepared a
picnic (traveler's: pokhodnyi)
dinner,
warmed
up
with
hot
tea,
ate
a
little
and
went
back
to
work.

| Радовались и тому, что стали уже
поступать пожертвования для строительства Дома. Вера в успех
витала в воздухе и в этой
атмосфере всем было легко работать и радостно. Верилось, что у
московских молокан
будет свой Молитвенный Дом, в который они принесут свои радости и
беды, от которых никто не застрахован; смогут принимать приезжающих в
Москву гостей и иметь радость общения с братьями. |
We are happy that donations for the construction of the Hall were already starting to come in. Belief in success was in the air and in this atmosphere it was easy for everyone to work and be happy. Everyone believes that Moscow Molokans will have their own prayer hall, to which they will bring their joys and troubles, from which nobody is safe. It can accommodate guests coming to Moscow for the joy of fellowship with the brotherhood. | |||||
| Да благословит Господь начатое дело и всех кто примет в этом деле участие. Дорога будет каждая копейка, каждый удар молотком. Для всех найдётся мера участия в благом деле. | God bless this construction and
everyone who will participate in it. Each penny will count, as will
be every blow with a hammer. In this blessed doing, everyone can have
their own input. |
