На территории Самарской губернии
действуют следующие секты:
  • баптисты – 35 общин, 2500 человек;
  • молокане – 23 общины, 4800 человек;
  • адвентисты 7 дня – 20 человек
    (только в Самаре);
  • евангельские христиане – 3  общины
    (1 – в Самаре, 2 – в уезде);
  • новоизраильтяне и мормоны
    (в просторечии хлысты) – 500 человек;
  • толстовцы-квакеры – 150 человек.

in Samara Region:
  • Baptists* — 35 congregations, 2,500 people
  • Molokans — 23 congregations, 4,800 people
  • Seventh Day Adventists — 20 people
    (in Samara only)
  • Evangelistic Christians — 3 congregations
    (1 in Samara, 2 in the districts)
  • New Israelites and Mormons
    (in other words, Khlysts) — 500 people
  • Tolstoyans / Quakers — 150 people.
* Most all the Baptists were former Molokans. Therefore, about 90% of the sectarians in Samara in 1925 were Molokans or former Molokans. Not counted here are foreign Christians, like the German Protestants who had a large church in the city of Samara.
