REQUEST:
To amend Section 18.10.020(I) (Second Dwelling
Units) and Section 18.16.030(A)(2) (Development Standards [for the R-1 zone])
of the Whittier Municipal Code for the regulation of secondary dwelling units.

The project has been deemed categorically exempt,
pursuant to Section 15305, Class 5 (Minor Alterations
in Land Use Limitations), of the California
Environmental Quality Act.
